List of departmental citizen centric services along with their existing internal process flow and citizen side delivery system.
The time frame for providing service to the public,disposal of subsidy cases/release of assistance under various schemes which are being implimented in horticulture department is fixed as under:-

2 Technical approval by the DDH(on first come first served basis keeping in view the budget availability)and information to the applicant. 12 Days after scrutiny.

  • Purchsases of material/equipment

4 verification of works /purchases by HDOs/SMSs/Deputy Director of Horticulture concerned. 15 days after receipt of completion report from the applicant (full justification by concerned officer if period exceeds)
5 Release of assistance to the applicant by the Deputy Director of Horticulture/Subject Matter Specialist through Bank cheque. 15 days after receipt of spot verification repot
6 Farm visit on receipt of complaint from applicant. 3 days from receipt of application .
7 Supply of pesticides/plant material/other horticulture inputs At the time of receipt of cost depending upon the availability of the inputs.
8 Community canning services 10 days after receipt of fruit
9 Leaf analysis 90 days after collection of leaf samples
SCHEMES:

Horticulture Development Scheme:
Services::-
  • Supply of Fruit Plants and elite plant material from registered Govt. and Private nurseries
  • Supply of horticulture inputs
  • Establishment of new orchard (Individually or as Garden colony)
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • Establishment of individual orchard: 50% to SC/ST/IRDP, 25% to Small farmers, 33.33% to & Marginal farmers maximum limit-Rs. 3000/-
  • Establishment of garden colony: Combined Fencing, Plant Protection equipments, Irrigation facility-75% to S/C, 50% to Small/marginal and backward area farmer Land development, Plantation, Other orchard management operations: 50% to S/C and backward area farmer, 25% to small farmer, 33.3% to marginal farmer and nil to other farmers. Maximum limit- Rs.18000 (for 2 ha.), Rs. 36000 (for 4 ha.).
Hops cultivation Services:::-
  • Advanced trainings in hop cultivation
  • Supply of Plant material and other inputs
  • Support price for procurement of dried hops fixed by Government from year to year .

Plant Protection Services::
  • Supply of pesticides and plant protection equipments
  • Release of bio agents in farmers’ fields
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • 50% to small/marginal farmers and 30% to Big farmers
  • Release of bio-agents in farmers field-free of cost
Horticulture Farms & Nurseries Services
  • Serve as Model demonstration centres for modern horticulture technology
  • Production of elite plant material at Government registered nurseries
Horticulture Training & Extension Service Services:
  • Training of Farmers through short term training camps and training courses
  • Exposire visits of farmers within and outside the state.
  • Organisation of seminars and workshops .
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • 1 day village level trainings- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer
  • 2 day block/distt. Level trainings- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer
  • 10 day study tour within state- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer +Free travel and lodging
  • 15 day study tour outside the state- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer +Free travel +lodging restricted to Rs. 50 per day.
Development of Beekeeping Services::
  • Supply of improved strains of bee colonies with hives
  • Supply of bee colonies for pollination on rental basis.
  • day practical Training in beekeeping- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer Incentives and Subsidy :-7 day practical Training in beekeeping- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer .
Development of Floriculture Services::
  • Supply of elite planting material .
  • 4 day practical Training .
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • 4 day practical Training in Floriculture - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer
  • Supply of plant material, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, equipments on 25% to small farmers and 33% to marginal farmers.
Development of Mushroom Services::
  • 10 day practical training in mushroom cultivation
  • Registration of trained farmers as mushroom growers
  • Production and Supply of pasteurized mushroom compost from departmental units
  • Availability of quality mushroom spawn
  • Transportation facility of mushroom composte
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • 10 day practical training in mushroom cultivation - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer
  • Registration of trained farmers as mushroom growers-free of cost
  • Supply of pasteurized mushroom compost from departmental units- 25% to small/marginal farmers, Unemployed Graduates, 50% to S/C,S/T and IRDP farmers.
  • Transportation facility of mushroom compost-100% transportation subsidy upto road head near mushroom farm .
Fruit Processing Programme Services::
  • Community Canning Service .
  • Processing of fruits and vegetables .
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • 2 days Training in Home scale preservation of Fruits and vegetables.
  • Processing of Fruit products under community canning service on nominal rates. .
  • 2 day practical training in Home scale preservation of Fruits and vegetables - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer.
Marketing & Quality Programme Services:
  • Survey of Markets under market intelligence scheme .
  • 2 days training in post harvest management/ Picking, grading and packing of fruits .
  • Procurement of Fair average quality fruit (Apple, Citrus and Mango) under Market intervention scheme
Incentives and Subsidy::-
  • Procurement of Fair average quality fruit (Apple, Citrus and Mango) under Market intervention scheme at minimum support price fixed by the Government from year to year.
  • 2 days training in post harvest management/ Picking, grading and packing of fruits- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer.
