Additional Central Assistance Scheme 'Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna'(Schemes 1)
A new Additional Central Assistance Scheme’ Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna’ (RKVY) has been launched by the Government of India during the year 2007-08. Under this scheme, the need felt projects for horticulture development based on the district plans are proposed for approval by the State level Sanctioning Committee(SLSC) of RKVY as State Horticulture Plan for inclusion into Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna.The funds are received under two streams.
The farmer centric components covered under Stream-I & II under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna are as follows:

Annexure-VI

 

 

Procedure for obtaining Assistance Under Various Components of RKVY

 

(i) The beneficiaries can obtain application form from the Horticulture Extension officer of concerned circle/ Horticulture Development Officer of concerned development Block, Subject Matter Specialist/Plant protection officer of concerned area /Office of Dy. Director of Horticulture of concerned District.

 

(ii) For seeking assistance under RKVY the beneficiaries shall fill up the application form on the prescribed format (Annexure-II) enclosing the Jamabandi of the total land, (Photocopy of the Kisan Pass Book/Certificate of the Patwari as a proof of ownership of the land) and Tatima of the Plot/ Land on which the infrastructure is to be created, plantation done alongwith the cost estimates.

 

(iii) The beneficiaries shall also have to fill and submit a Bond regarding proper utilization of the subsidy on the required format. (Annexure-III)

 

(iv) The completed Application From alongwith the requisite documents shall be submitted to the Horticulture Development Officer of concerned Block. The beneficiary may keep a photocopy of the application for his/her record.

 

(v) Before purchasing any input /seeking assistance provided under the scheme, sanction of the competent authority viz. Dy. Director of Horticulture of the concerned district/Subject Matter Specialist of concerned area shall be mandatory. The assistance shall be made available by the department subject to availability of funds and satisfaction of the competent authority.
